A Bundle of Myrrh

“On the eighth day, when it was time to circumcise the child, he was named Jesus, the name the angel had given him before he was conceived.” Luke 2:21

On the Eight day of Christmas we lazed around the house recovering from our New Year’s Eve bashing.

To further decorate our Christmas tree the babies colored some Names of Jesus ornaments. I had the girls read them to me and we looked them up in the Bible so we would know where each came from.

And I finally got our traditional PJs in front of the Tree photo. I like to do this on Christmas Eve or Christmas night but someone’s new jammies were inevitably always in the dirty clothes and for 12 days I’ve been like, Laundry? Ain’t no body got time for that!

But the stars aligned on the eighth night. We were clean and smiling!
