Here’s what happens when you put a Texan mommy in Nebraska and it’s time to go outside. The Weather Channel said it was 53 degrees outside. Sorry, where I come from that’s cold, we’re talking winter, not a warm fall day. So on go the sweatpants…
the matching hoodie, socks and will she need gloves I wonder? Nah, no gloves this time, but she will need a hat and blanket of course!
Here’s my warm baby ready for her morning walk. By now it’s a sweltering 60 degrees outside. I hope the Nebraska mommies don’t see us….>Swinging, Stretching and Wearing Hats…and something else.

Lily in her swing. You cant see it, but Daddy didn’t want to keep having to buy batteries for this, so he worked some engineering magic and now the swing plugs into the wall. No batteries required.
I couldn’t help it, she’s just so cute.
And so prim in her hat and gloves. She’s such a lady. She was embarrassed that I caught her not crossing her ankles, what will everyone think!
This was Lily’s favorite hat…until I called her “Lily the Gnome”.
It’s just a dress! It means nothing! Though we did get some UNL applications in the mail this week….>Bancroft Tractor Pull!
