Day Two.
On the Second day of Christmas we opened more gifts, enjoyed the day relaxing and recovering from so much going hither and thither then it was time to load up and go hunting for Christmas lights.
Ephraim had a stomach bug this day, so that was fun and required him to take along the Barf Bucket. Thankfully though we had no barfing in the van.

The Feast of the Nativity begins with Jesus under our tree and nothing else. The greatest and best gift from God our Father.
I imagine one day I’ll place gifts under our tree for Christmas as well. It’s just been so much easier to keep them hidden until it’s time to open them. I can’t imagine having to try to keep babies away from the presents for so long!

My day began very early I suppose. I wasn’t able to sleep and now can’t remember why but I got to see the snow move in. It was such a quiet and peaceful house it was hard to make myself finally go to bed sometime around 1:30, but I did.

The snow moved in Thursday night. Just a little bit with more this morning. Along with it has come sickness. Another cold for me, Phil in bed with something, Martha has another cold and Esther came home from school yesterday with a fever and stomach bug.
I’m praying the other babies stay well but really it could just be a sicky Christmas for us.
