A Bundle of Myrrh

December Daily: Day Five

December 7th, 2012 by Aubri

Memories for today, rosy fever cheeks. We just can’t seem to shake these colds and keep passing them back and forth.

Fat yogurty baby fingers. I made a little yogurt finger paint for Esther to play in while the big kids did some crafting.

Getting ready for the Feast of St. Nicholas. Santa becomes a Bishop!

I asked Verna to make some little pouches for me to put the babies’ gold coins in, they turned out so cute!

And I went with a new recipe for my St. Nicholas cookies, I wasn’t too happy with how they turned out tasting (Ok, so I was short on molasses and forgot to add the chopped chocolate) but I figured they were good enough so I went ahead with decorating them. After two cookies I was tired and it was getting past my bedtime.

The “Alright, my hand hurts, lets get this done” cookie.

Then the “Oh whatever, just smear the frosting all over, I’m going to bed” cookies.
