Oops, I did it again….made the perfect “frappuccino” and didn’t write down the recipe. Sorry. It was good.
I used my prebrewed cold coffee concoction courtesy The Pioneer Woman, it’s nice and strong for this. (I’ve wanted to make a post just on the greatness that this new way to drink iced coffee is but haven’t gotten around to it, sorry again. Check it out though. It has been worth the effort!)
Gerhardt is becoming his Daddy’s little shadow. Daddy does the coolest things you know, like taking things apart. My laptop has been a source of great woe…again. It should be usable now. For the time being.
Speaking of little shadows, I have four. With all the work that goes into raising children, it’s hard to remember to take the time to look down at my feet and absorb the immensity of this, the gift of these little people that follow me everywhere demanding my everything. These are my babies! I’m struck by that reality from time to time. (Pink bath water from Crayola)
And the one you think is NOTHING like you and wonder “where did this one come from?!” you slowly begin to see those traces of yourself, like it or not. (I won’t name names!)
Phil had a bounty of fish after a day on the lake with some friends of ours.
He cleans ’em, I’ll cook ’em.
Mmm, those fish look good! And you know I’ll be checking out the iced coffee.
About the babies in the tub – I know what you mean. Once in a while it sneaks up on us, the blessed reality of being a mother. Love it!
Blessings!
ah, the memories! 🙂
