The First Day Of Christmas

December 26th, 2011 by Aubri

This about sums up Christmas day at our house….

Opening the stockings. It’s the little things that make them the happiest…an apple!

We eased into the Christmas season today. We only put out a few gifts for this first day and plan on opening more throughout the remaining 12 days.

And a $2 old camera from the thrift store so they don’t have to use barrettes or blocks as “cameras” anymore….of course there’s nothing wrong with that either!

A new nativity set from aunty Leah!

Baby Jesus rolls with our lunch. Pretend the raisin eyes aren’t there, they’re less scary.

The girls made a cake for Jesus. I’m sure He liked it.

Wonderful idea, to open the gifts throughout the 12 days of Christmas! The babies are so adorable, the big and little ones :-).

Thanks for including the Nativity we sent – I wondered how it would look all put together. I see you successfully kept Gerhardt from eating it 🙂
