We’re settling into things around the parsonage with four babies. Our moms are still here so the reality of life, how it will be, hasn’t hit yet, but I’m starting to get a better picture of that. I can’t say that it will always be pretty, but I suppose we’ll survive once they’re gone…maybe. Here’s what we’ve been up to.
The weather turned cooler last week and I had a craving for gingerbread cookies (they’re gone now, I think I need to make more). Delicious Fall is finally here!
It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s…super carrot! Our first carrot crop did well this year! They walked straight out of the ground on those skinny little legs and right into Gerhardt’s mouth.
The girls love their baby sister. Clara a little too much at times but she’s getting better at “gentle” and “not too close!”
Gerhardt still really only likes sister for her accessories.
Lily has so much fun holding and feeding Esther. She just might turn out to be a big help pretty soon!
Good Clara! Gentle!
Uh oh…
“What Mama? See, “gentle”!”
Gerhardt just cracks me up! What joyous memories I have of my not-so-little Joey (now 8) when he was that age. Always climbing in and out of things. Your kids are precious.
