I’m so proud of our Lily. She has been involving herself in a lot of things that are completely new to her lately. Earlier this month she volunteered to go along with the chorus group she’s in from school to perform Christmas songs at an outdoor mall. Unfortunately some nasty weather was moving in at the same time so Scheel’s was kind enough to allow the kids to sing inside their store.
I told Phil I wanted to take her on this outing myself and make it a little more special. Afterward we walked over to Scooter’s to get some hot chocolate for Mama and hot apple cider for her.
I’m so happy we got to have this little evening together.
That Lily is smart and has lots of other great attributes.
What a wonderful time for you and your “big” girl! She is growing up so fast, and it is good to see her branch out; enjoy those special times together, they go by fast too! 🙂
