Finally we’re getting the weather that I’ve come to expect up here! A blizzard came in during the night and lasted all day. It’s been so strange to not have any snow on the ground this late in December. The thought of not having a white Christmas was actually making me a little sad. Growing up never having any I’ve been spoiling after three in a row! Hopefully the snow we got yesterday will stick around for a while.
We decorated our gingerbread men.
Perfect.
And then ate them, two at a time.
Or at least parts of them.
A package arrived from Grandmére! We had a lot of fun opening this.
Gerhardt loves his new stocking. I’m very happy that it has plenty of space for me to add his name to it as I’ve done with the girls names on theirs. Why’d we go with such a long name again?
And these beautiful Christmas dresses made for the girls by Grandmére. I’m just hoping our Christmas services aren’t canceled this year as they were last year so they can wear them!
