Well we are finally in and pretty well settled into the parsonage! After two weeks of unpacking it feels good to look around and feel like this is becoming home. So come on in and take a peak!
A dreamy new rug for the living room area.
Hmmm, that photo collage isn’t balanced is it? Need to rethink that.
Over the last couple weeks the construction crew was still around finishing up some odds and ends here and there. They were a great group of guys, very respectful and so sweet to our kiddos.
I’ve been so thankful to have my aunt (pictured here) and my mom visiting these two weeks. They have done so much to help us in the settling.
Sunday afternoon we hosted our congregation at the parsonage. A truly “Open House” for them to walk around to each room and see just how much this house has changed. Many of them had never been in the original house and had nothing to compare it to but were all still very impressed. I did provide a slide show (…of course) with before and afters.
And no, this would not have happened two weeks after we moved in if Phil and these lovely ladies had not been here to get things ready. I mostly just stood, sat or napped around while they all worked.
It’s good to be home!
Congratulations on being in the parsonage. It is a beautiful home. Thankful to hear your auntie and mom were able to come!
What a lovely time! So glad you have all the helping hands that you have. That is such a blessing!
Thanks so much for sharing,
Lea
