Just to let everyone know, we survived the Winter Storm of 2016!
It wasn’t as bad as reports said it might be, thankfully. We dug out yesterday and had a bit more snow over night, but we all good.
Gerhardt let me know: It’s not very deep!
Gerhardt: See.
Gerhardt: Not deep!
He was pretty disappointed the snow didn’t cover the cars and come up to our windows.
The girls spent a little too much time outside this morning and had owie cheeks. But it wasn’t anything some hot chocolate couldn’t cure.
Hair.
We’re making the most of our time indoors. Pumping up some of our favorite tunes to blast away winter blues.
Here are some of Ephraim’s best moves for your viewing pleasure. Gets them all from his Daddy of course.
And uh, pretend you didn’t just see that baby walk by with scissors in her mouth ok? Oh there’s so many little Mercy treats in this video.
But the sun has finally come back out and now we’re all blind.
And so you will all understand why I stay inside for 6 months of the year, here you go. I’ve probably posted this before, but I laugh every time I watch it. It’s a painful truth.
I loved your home movie! If workout videos would show kids doing all of the moves, I would be more inclined to stick to the task. Ephraim has GOT IT! And Stayin’ Alive is one of my favorite tunes. (There. Now you know how old I might be.)
Mercy, it’s good to know that you want to take care of your hair. Just keep that scissors from those lovely locks, okay?
Martha, are you on the move, too? No way!!
Too funny seeing Ephraim come out of his shell – the longer the music lasted the more he got into it! Made me laugh out loud! also love the “suck in cold weather” video! That’s how I feel in Nebraska in January! 🙂
hilarious! Tell Ephraim I will be his dancing partner when I come.
Nice dancing, Ephraim!
