A Bundle of Myrrh

Just so you know we’re all still here and ok, this is what’s happening in our neck of the woods.

I guess pregnancy makes me short. But Lily has been growing like a weed!

I looked at her last night as we drove home from our friends’ church, sitting there with her legs crossed gazing out the window and told her she looked so pretty and grown up. She couldn’t stop grinning at me after that. Sweet baby.

Oh these three. The morning hours are splattered with regular acts of terrorism from at least one of those bigger babies. But they do love that littlest one.

Mercy always ready to pat (wop), feed (jam the bottle into mouth) and cover (bury) Martha with her blanket. And Ephraim who says “Awww” at her and then runs off to bully Mercy.

But we get through it.

The Help.

She’s good right?!

A couple weeks ago we had a Basement Supper Party watching the Ft. Wayne Seminary Call Service to see where our friends Dan and Erika will be going next!

The babies LOVE Basement Supper Parties. I do too, until someone steps in ketchup.

These two again.

And Martha just rolls with it all looking so stinkin’ cute the whole time.

And Mother’s Day happened.

Now I’m confused.

I’m going to make more of an effort at getting the girls in the kitchen to cook for me through the Summer. Training them to do more completely on their own and let supper be what it may be.

They did a very good job and were so proud of themselves. They went on and on about how gooood their pizzas were.

I was proud too and relieved because let’s be honest, I could use the help….
