We sent our fourth baby off to preschool yesterday! Sniffle sniffle.
The best part about that was this quote:
Esther: “Why do I always have to go to school?!”
Can you tell she’s watched and listened to her older sibs getting ready for school a few times?
And yes, Esther will be using an old Spiderman back-pack until Mama can get her a new one. I’m kicking myself for not thinking about that as a Christmas gift. Oh well. Look at that, four out the door! How strange to only have two at home in the morning until April.
I’ll miss my “big girl” being around but I think she’s going to love school. She’s been excited about it and we know she’s ready. Now whether or not I’m ready to be getting 4 babies out of the house every morning is up for debate.
And there they go, off into the sunrise.
She’s not a baby anymore. (sniffling right along with you). I do, though, love her sweet smile and her ponytails. Hope she had a fantastic first day and first week of school.
Aww. I love that last line and the picture with it. <3
hmmm… what’s all that white stuff they are walking in?
Awww where does the time go? They are all so cute walking together, hope they’re warm! Love seeing your blog!
The years do have a way of flying by even when they don’t feel like at the time. Essie did have a good first week so far from what I’ve gathered through her chatter, though day #2 was cancelled due to sickeningly cold temps, we were not expected to get over ZERO that day.
Grandmere, we had an amazing bumper crop of COTTON this year…no worries! 🙂
