Today we remember Noah. We talked about how God keeps His promises. Perfect timing for the day in which we get out our Advent wreath and discuss how God kept His promise to send us a Savior and how our Savior promised to come again.
It’s an exciting day as I prepare the house for the next season on the Church calendar. This is I guess the Church’s “New Year’s Eve.” It all starts over tomorrow with St. Andrew’s Day and Advent!
“Almighty and eternal God, according to your strict judgment You condemned the unbelieving world through the flood, yet according to Your great mercy You preserved believing Noah and his family, eight souls in all. Grant that we may be kept sage and secure in the holy ark of the Christian Church, so that with all believers in Your promise, we would be declared worthy of eternal life. Amen.” Treasury
It looks like your sunset was as gorgeous as ours tonight. Happy New Year in Christ Jesus, who makes all things new!
It was amazing Katy, glad you got one too, it was not something I expected to see last night, nor was the warm evening expected! Happy New Year! 🙂
The sunset photos are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing!
And what a cute idea for a Noah-themed snack. I’m going to tuck that away for later….thanks for sharing that too.
Lea
Thanks Lea, that snack was a combination of a couple ideas I found on pinterest. I actually had all the ingredients on hand!
