I love watching Clara create. Yes, she’s a wrecking ball of energy, enthusiasm and moods, she can try the dickens out of me, but when you give her paper and a pencil, a crayon, a marker or some paint something wonderful happens.
Her focus, her creativity, her joy in doing one thing at that moment, it gives me such pleasure. She sat and drew hieroglyphs for an hour!
I’ve always wished I could enjoy something half as much as Clara can. She’s one to definitely throw her whole self into whatever she’s doing! There’s all this talk of “living in the moment.” That’s one thing children do have figured out, they can’t help it, that’s all they have, the moment. Sometimes, I really love that.
I love seeing her drawings, she is so creative! I think she is following in her Uncle Weslie’s footsteps! 🙂
