Thank you to all of you for your kind comments, thoughts and prayers! We’re all (at least I think “all”, Clara’s feelings on baby brother are still being considered) so happy to have Gerhardt on this side of my tummy. It was such a blessing to have him come on his own, quickly and safely. I had a little longer recovery time than with the girls but am doing much better today and getting around on my own so I’ll gladly be heading home this afternoon.
Our moms brought the girls to the hospital yesterday to meet their new “brudeh”. For Lily it was love at first sight. Clara was very curious but didn’t want to get too close.

And now a family of five! I can’t help thinking how CRAZY it is that Phil and I have THREE children now and how very blessed we have been.

Congratulations to you and Phil! Glad to hear you are recovering, even if a little slowly. Gerhardt looks like a fine and handsome little fellow!
