Here is a ~60 lb. Blacktip Shark I caught before the Houston Synodical convention at the Surfside Jetty.
It was quite a fight (over 30 minutes).
It was the fish of a lifetime—one I’ve been trying to catch for over 10 years at this spot.
As you can see, It was just a bit shorter than me, so close to 5.5 feet long.
