The babies had 3 days out of school this week. The weather was cold and rainy but thankfully not snowy and icy this year. We spent a lot of the day Wednesday and some Thursday cleaning up the house, I told the kids it looked like a trash can in here. But we got it looking pretty spiffy for a few hours. Phil took some of them ice skating as a treat.

Last weekend we had an amazing treat, being the guests of this lovely couple on their super fancy dinner cruise. We were hosted by another lovely couple from our church who provide a carriage ride with hor d’oeuvres, appetizers on the patio, live music entertainment, then dinner and desserts during a cruise around the lake.

My brother and sis in law hosted us…all 10 of us while we passed through Austin coming back from the coast. They also kept our 3 littlest babies while we were down there while my mom took Ephraim and Esther. Divide and conquer. Huge thanks to all of them!

It warms my heart to see my babies with my brothers’ babies! I’m so glad they got to spend time with their cousins in Texas. Lily, Clara and Gerhardt spent a week in Austin and two weeks in the Fort Worth area before we came down to join them. It looks like they had a great time!
