Lily: The sole of my shoe came off at school today so my teacher super glued it back on.
This one goes along with the time the kids were sitting around the table coloring and cutting….
Esther: Some kids have plastic toys. We have PAPER toys!
Sigh. Oh my poor babies. Lily actually does have some nice tennis shoes but…they don’t have glitter on them like the shoes without soles do. I really just wonder what the folks at their school must think about our family. đ
Gerhardt: Ooo, what are we having a Brain on a Stick?
Clara: I’m going to eat my 30th piece of pizza in the bathroom.

Lily: (Regarding Esther crying and crying after bedtime.) I was hoping Mama or Daddy would come downstairs and spank Esther.
Esther: Then I would cry even louder if I got spunked!
