I finally got proof! Essie’s on the move!!!

Growing up! Really wanting to eat like the big kids, but eating more like her Mama.

Essie has decided that walking looks fun and finally said, “Ok, I’ll try it.” She’s begun to stand up all on her own and took a few steps! I’m still attempting to get video evidence of this but you know the surest way to kill the moment is to bring out a camera. Poo.

Snaggle Tooth Essie is finally getting some teeth up top, unfortunately not in the most flattering way, but it brings a smile to my face every time I see them!

Ok, ok, 13 months old, but whose counting? One last portrait of Essie’s first year. Our baby won’t be the “baby” much longer but “Big Sister”! It’s hard to believe.

I look forward to all the big changes that take place in this second year as she leaves behind the baby phase and becomes a curious funny toddler.

I’m convinced she’ll talk before she walks! She’s begun to “say” a few words, “Hi”, “Bye”, “More” and “Night Night”, but she’s been in no hurry to get up on her feet. I’m not in a hurry for that either though she crawls where she wants and that’s enough moving around for me!

Year two will be a fun one for you sweet funny Essie!
