We haven’t seen the movie Frozen, but if it’s as good as it’s theme song you can bet we’ll be adding it to our Netflix queue!

Essie’s obviously been watching Phil talk on the phone.
It doesn’t have to be reading, sometimes they make you proud in other ways….
“Mercy likes me.” Mercy is clobbered with love in this house though I think she actually punches Esther half way through this.

Essie’s baptismal sponsors wanted to have a party for her. They hated that they missed her birthday in September so we did it all over again last weekend. So thoughtful of them.
Supper, gifts,cake and homemade ice cream!
She’s the only baby for whom we’ve chosen sponsors that actually live within 300 miles of us! It’s a blessing to have made some good friends here.

Last weekend we had Essie’s birthday party. I have always loved Russian nesting dolls or Matryoshka dolls.
I got my first set of Matryoshka dolls when I was ein little Liebchen in Germany and have been given several more since.
I did some decorating in Esther’s room with them so I thought it would be a fun theme for her birthday.
