I was interrupted while folding diapers. When I returned to my basket it was empty. I asked the girls if they had folded the diapers for me. “Yes!” they said. And they even put them away!

Tonight while reading “The Very Hungry Caterpillar” Clara pointed to the fat caterpillar (after he’d eaten all that food he eats and gets a tummy ache) and said “Too mush” before Phil could. Then she said “Coon!” knowing that on the following page that caterpillar would be getting inside his cocoon.
It’s just amazing to me that she remembers the story and is now able to communicate that by TALKING! It’s the little things folks! The little things that really are the big things.
