Phil took a sample of Lily tee-tee in to the clinic this morning and sure enough, she’s got a pretty bad infection. She’s on medication now and will have to go back in a couple weeks. It’s been hard to get her to drink and she is having a very hard time going potty since “it hurts mama!”. I hoping the medication will help her and praying that she will get better at “getting her tee-tees out” so this doesn’t become a bigger problem. Please pray for our little Lily!

We decided to go to the big city today to get Phil some new clothes and do some reading and Peppermint Mocha drinking. We ate lunch then hit some stores and grabbed a couple groceries. Then we got a call from our sitter that Lily was screaming when she was going potty and she suspected that Lily might have a bladder infection. We hurried home and the clinic being closed advised us to take her into the hospital because she might spike a fever in the night if we didn’t get some medicine for her soon.

Phil took her in but because he couldn’t get her to potty there there wasn’t much that could be done. They sent him home with a dosage of antibiotics to give her until we could get a urine sample they could test.

I started the troublesome business of adding the children’s names to their stockings by cutting the letters out of felt for Lily’s first Christmas. ‘Lily’ was a walk in the park, ‘Clara’ got a little tricky, then came ‘Gerhardt‘, but I did it with plenty of room to spare.

Oh and Mom, I really like this stocking, thanks! But I’m a little concerned that some poor snowman is walking around without his head…?
