The girls were on the porch “helping” Phil brew the other day. I couldn’t help but stop and ponder the sight for a minute and think about how richly we have been blessed in the last 3 years of our life together. It was on this porch 3 years ago in August that Phil asked me to marry him while I “helped” him brew one of the beers he would take to our wedding. Uh…and he was wearing that SAME shirt! We had no idea how different our lives would be 3 short years later and what wonderful little gifts we’d have to show for that promise we made.

When you can’t go to Starbucks, bring Starbucks to you! Many of you know the hardship of my living 45 miles from a Starbucks or any coffee shop for that matter, not even a Scooter’s. And though McDonald’s is 20 miles away and I must say has a pretty fine Cafe Mocha at their very classy McCafĂ© and for the price it just might just be my new fave, it’s still a very rare treat to enjoy, so I’ve been trying for some time now to perfect mochas, coffee and fraps without much luck. BUT I’m very pleased to announce that my Mama has nailed the frappuccino! Hopefully she wrote down the recipe…
