Putting Away Fall

Today I took down and put away Fall around the house. You were fun Fall, but it’s time for the blessings of Advent and Christmas. I have to say I don’t think I’ve ever been so eager for Christmas. This year it might be hard for me to savor Advent as much as I like to with the anticipation of Christmas. I’m not sure what’s causing that but it’s real.

Nurturing Hearts
Doing my best to keep up our Baptism Day celebrations. A day that is more important than these babies were born is the day they were baptized into Christ’s death and resurrection, given eternal life and marked as His own.

Living Seasonally
Pumpkin patch, creating Halloween costumes, hearing the geese flying South, cooler afternoons, jackets, fire bowl on the patio, pumpkins on the porch and of course the endless rows of colorful trees. Fall.
