June 16: Clara turns 12! We started the day as we always do with Birthday Pancakes for the birthday baby. The kids have been attending Music Camp at church all day each day this week, so that was a lot of fun. For supper her Daddy smoked a brisket for her and we enjoyed what we rarely are able to do, have a birthday party on an actual birthday!

June 16: Our lovely Clara turned 11 today. She asked for a Flower Garden birthday party. Just perfect for our girl. You know what else is perfect? This Giant Chocolate Chipwhich! You’re welcome. It made a great “birthday cake.”
