Today is Lily’s second birthday! She’s now officially two years old, “I two!” she says. We’re certainly entering a new realm of childhood with her and it’s a joy (most of the time) to see. I knew I wouldn’t be up to having a big birthday bash but I wanted to do a little something to make the day special. All I planned was cupcakes with neighbors and even that ended up almost being too much for me to handle! But we pulled it off and had a very nice party.

Lily has been going with Phil to our VBS this week to assist him with his administrative duties. It’s very hard work, she couldn’t even stay awake for pizza.
