First Day

Today was Lily’s first day of pre-school at our community school in town. Phil had to take her as I was worried how I’d behave.
I went to pick her up though and she seemed to have had a great time. I’m excited to begin this new phase in her and our family’s life. Clara will have to make the biggest adjustment I think. She didn’t handle Sissy leaving without her very well.
She cried for a while then just didn’t know what to do with herself.
But we spent the morning doing a few things together. We made PBJs, lemonade and finger painted. That helped.
Lily’s Pink Party

A few weeks ago I asked Lily what kind of birthday party she wanted. She said “a PINK party!”. What little girl doesn’t want a pink party?! Sounded easy to me so I went with it!
