On June 9th Phil took the big girls to the symphony. They were playing Beethoven’s 9th.

The kids love Omaha’s Children Museum and Daddy loves taking them there often. This usually gives Mama half a day to run errands or catch up on this old blog, I’m thankful.
The Date Nights

There are so many reasons to be thankful that Phil and I got out of debt very early in our marriage. One reason that reaps rewards most often is our ability to go out together, bash around town enjoying good food, entertainment of course each other. I’m so grateful for a husband who makes this happen and also of course for the kind people who are able and willing to watch our babies for us while we do these funsie things together.
“Dates” do not need to be out on the town or even that fancy to be enjoyable. We also have many “dates” right in our own kitchen, grilling steaks and opening wine after the babies are down. The important thing to us is being able to spend some time together just the two of us.
