We’ve enjoyed getting ready for Valentine’s Day. Each year I’m able to find a little time to make something to add to our collection of Valentine’s decorations that I get very happy to put up during this bleak cold time.

Can you believe it’s already February? With my new found love for Valentine’s Day, I’ve actually been looking forward to this month for a while. So I thought I’d share a couple ways we’re counting down the days to St. Valentine’s Day.

Lily and Clara are having so much fun with these little wooden people my mom made for them.
I got the idea from Serving Pink Lemonade and commissioned her. I gave her a list of characters I thought the girls would like and I think she did an amazing job!

Sunday afternoon I decided NOT to do any housework but to take a little time doing something fun. I’m typically caught making a card at the last minute for a baby gift or for someone who is sick, etc. I like having a stash already made so I can just grab one. So, here are a few I made.
I love this sketch that I got from HERE. I’ve used them with Lily to decorate like a paper doll but I also love this idea of making little coloring books with them.
These are “Get Well Soon” and “Thinking Of You” cards we can take with us when we make visits to shut-ins with Phil. They’re great for birthday cards too!
