Smallness

When they’re this small I just want to find a way to bottle up all their tininess. One so quickly forgets how little they are at this age, you hear that all the time because it’s too true. All I can think to do is click my camera at him trying to find a way to record and keep his smallness in some measurable unforgettable way.

Celebrating Abel’s Baptism

Another Hale boy in the “boy baptismal gown.” Mercy was very concerned that he would be wearing a gown. I assured her this was one time in a boys life that it would be appropriate.

For months I prayed to see this day, the day we would be able to bring our baby to the waters of Holy Baptism. Like Simeon I praise God for we have seen His salvation. Today Abel was bound and knit together in Christ’s death and Resurrection.
God has done this and it is marvelous in our eyes.
