May 4: The month of birthdays begins! Today we celebrate our very own King of All Wild Things. Perfectly silly, grumpy, stubborn, wild and TWO.
For Halloween Martin dressed as Max from Where the Wild Things Are and I knew then he’d use his costume again for his birthday. I just wish it fit better so we’d have avoided the wardrobe malfunctions all day….wild. And much to my great disappointment, he still refused to wear the crown if not bribed with M&Ms (so Mama could get a picture,) but this was such a fun party to plan.
Also, no cake this time. We’ve had so much cake lately so I went with cookies. Happy Birthday Wild Thing!

April 18: Funny Martha, always keeping me on my toes with her birthday party choices! This year she asked for a Grinch Ice Cream party. Easy enough right?! Since her birthday fell on Holy Saturday we celebrate on Easter Monday instead.
