January 6: Many of our traditional Christmas activities were set aside this year and some we added to our Winter/Epiphany season activities. Today we made gingerbread houses. It was pretty much a disaster, lots of crying and fighting and mess but we got through it.

December 30: A first for us. We took a trip during the kids’ Christmas Break from school. We headed to New Haven MO. Our adventures began with a lunch stop in Kansas City at our new favorite BBQ spot in the world. We even allowed the kids to eat! @Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue.
