These lillies grow on the side of our house. The side I’m never on so I don’t ever get to enjoy them. I decided to start cutting them and bringing them inside so I can actually see them. I’m amazed how all the flowers in our yard (that we did not plant) continue to grow back beautifully year after year without any help on our part. It’s nice of them to give the allusion that we do some actual yard work (besides mowing, thank you husband!).
Well, I say “beautifully” but they’re starting to look a little lack luster after the heat we’ve had this week.

Poor little fella was so tired he curled up at my feet while I was cooking lunch the other day and fell right to sleep.
Do you have any idea how great it feels to finally have things like this happening?! Oh the freedom!
