Holy Week is typically a busy and tiring week for us. But thankfully this year Phil has found it to be a little more “relaxed” than it has been in the past. Having been through this a few times helps. I feel I’ve been busier though, with baking and cooking and trying very hard to get the house cleaned for Easter (yes, a futile task).
For Maundy Thursday supper I made a flat bread and lentil soup. Both turned out much better than I’d expected and Phil consented to allowing me to make this a tradition for Maundy Thursdays.
Ahh, a nice quiet supper after the girls were in bed.
For Good Friday I made Hot Cross Buns again using a different recipe than last year. I added dried Cranberries, blueberries and raisins. They were great!
