January 21: January’s such a nice time for a road trip. Last week headed to Fort Wayne IN. Over the weekend we broke our travel up with a stop in New Haven MO for some time to relax and catch up with the Otten and Preus familes.
We were invited to Solveig’s piano recital.
While in Ft. Wayne we drove over to Auburn IN, the “Classic Car Capitol of the World” to check out the Auburn Duesenberg Automobile Museum. The most elegant car museum I’ve ever visited.

Another car museum across the way we saw a DeLorean, Ephraim got to go “back to the future!”

The last time I sat in the chapel was “Call Night” in 2007. Without being asked I had made the decision that I would marry Philip Hale and was really interested to hear where he would be sent as a new pastor. Then last night I sat in the chapel, squeezed into one pew with the Rev. Philip Hale and our 12 children. Dreams do come true!
