October 31: Happy Reformation Day! This year Reformation Day fell on a Sunday, which is wonderful but in our house that means we have two big events on one day, the festival of the Reformation with all the celebrating that goes with that and….Halloween.
Usually we observe the Reformation on the Sunday it’s observed at church and leave the 31st for all the Halloween stuff. This year we just used the 30th for all things Reformed. We had a Reformation Tea Time with snacks and a lot of discussion on the history of this day and it’s significance to the church. We also had to watch this video a couple times cuz it funny. Also, Ephraim being this year’s 3rd grader received a bible cover from us for his new bible.
