June 10: We take a quick trip to Fredricksburg, Iowa to attend the 25th pastoral anniversary of Phil’s Vicarage Supervisor, Rev. Koch. Phil wanted to be there to commemorate this and to preach the sermon for the service. It was great to catch up with friends we had not seen for 6 years.
While there the kids were treated to a tour of a Buffalo Ranch.
We did some “city camping” in Fredricksburg but broke up the drive home by stopping at Ledges State Park in Iowa for one night. The kids and Daddy did some hiking.
