April 15: For a couple days last week Phil took 5 of the babies and headed to Kansas to do some camping. As of that week they still had parks open to overnight campers well, and to the public at all. Nebraska has closed all parks for use due to COVID. He found a very nice place for them to rest and play. While he was gone the rest of us piddled around the parsonage. We had a glorious afternoon so we headed out for a short walk, as much as Mama can handle these days.
By the next day our weather changed a little bit.
Snow in April is not uncommon but it can be unwelcome. Though Spring snows don’t last very long as we have learned. They do however turn into mud….my favorite.
