We finally got our garden in last week. We put in onions (some red ones this time!), lettuce, spinach, jalapenos, red and green peppers, cilantro, rosemary, strawberries, watermelon and of course sweet corn. The gentleman who loans us this garden space passed away a couple months ago and his son is letting us continue to use it this year which we’re grateful for, but unfortunately they’ve cut off the water from the house. Phil isn’t too worried about it but will have to think about how to get water over there. Maybe it will rain everyday this summer!
I won’t be much help in the garden this time I’m afraid, but I do have a few things growing here at the house, some herbs and a red trailing verbena.
