It felt more like Fall, but Spring did finally arrive in Nebraska.
Our May Day festivities were simple. I picked up some new “uniform” shirts for the girls since they were tired of the same colors after just about the entire school year. Of course I had to go with pretty pastels, pink and yellow. They were happy with that. Also a few other gifts fitting for Spring and once again I made my famous only to myself Chocolate May Pole Bundt Cake.
Due to scheduling conflicts the German Society held it’s annual Maifest a couple weeks before May. I got pretty lousy pictures of the babies dancing….
But we always love watching the Adults dance around the May Pole!
