Lily is 8 months old today. She’s getting a lot more playful and making all kinds of new sounds (see below!). She isn’t crawling yet, but has been putting weight on her hands and knees if I’m supporting her tummy so maybe it’s not too far off. It also doesn’t look like any teeth are coming in yet.She’s taking her time on some of these “milestones” and that’s fine with us. Phil does think she said “Mom” the other day and looked around for me. I guess she’s more interested in developing her verbal and mental prowess instead. But notice those arms she’s got! Her Daddy is very jealous. She’s been on a pretty rigorous weight lifting regiment so she’ll be ready to hold little sister in a few months!
