Friday night we got fancy! It was a balmy 30 degrees, which means one thing in Bancroft, time to light up the grill! Phil threw some steaks on and I made a pasta with a white wine sauce. We felt mighty fine and a little under dressed for our own supper.
This is what I had for dessert! You sure can fix up a box mix brownie with a bit of ice cream, some chocolate syrup and a cup of decaf! Yum!
Here’s the pasta I made the night before but with chicken. My new favorite thing is cooking with wine. I can’t drink it (or too much of it!) but I love to smell it simmering in a pan with some butter and garlic.
