This week we finally moved our changing table into the bathroom. Since we started using cloth diapers 2.5 years ago, I have wanted to do this. We removed two shelves and the doors from the closet and it fit right in. It’s so much nicer to have it in the bathroom where the toilet and icky diaper pails are. There’s no more risk of stray “objects” being found in the hallway, no more soggy diapers stacked on the side of the table getting “nasty” everywhere and there’s so much more room in the nursery.
I have much love/hate, ok, mostly just hate, for cloth diapering. It was fun at first putting soft white diapers on Lily, but now it’s just gross and more work, so getting all the gross into the room where gross is supposed to be has made me feel much more comfortable with the whole cloth diapering process. But, it’s still gross.
Nice little pail tucked out of the way ready for all those wet diapers.
