A Bundle of Myrrh

Mercy is doing much better today. No fever and smiling! We should have test results back tomorrow and probably will be able to go home. She might have a couple more blood tests but we may just not know what virus caused all this hub bub.

Probably wouldn’t have even gone to the doctor if it hadn’t been for the way she was acting about her neck. I appeared to be stiff and painful so of course my mind goes to “meningitis”. Since two of our doctors couldn’t rule that out and she did have some kind of infection, we proceeded with “the works”. Just praying for her to keep getting better now and to be able to get home soon!

Mercy is in the hospital for a few days with a viral infection. Our doctor wasn’t sure what it was so we’ve had several tests done, including a yucky spinal tap just to make sure this isn’t meningitis. Her fever is down and she was feeling much better this morning than yesterday it seemed, though right now she’s acting a little miserable again.

If this isn’t anything “serious” we should be able to go home Monday. Please pray for our little Mercy.

I’m at a retreat this weekend for pastor’s wives and since I’ve been showing these pictures off to all the ladies here I thought I better let you all see them too!
