Late Spring

And again we wake to freshly fallen snow. Winter has definitely outstayed its welcome. But as we endure the lingering cold and slosh slosh of warming snow I think how fitting that during this season of Lent, while we contemplate our Lord’s suffering and long for the joy that Easter brings, we should have to wait for the joy and warmth that Spring brings.

It’s Enough to Make a Grown Man Cry.

What we’re seeing outside our window this morning. Yes, it’s the end of March up here too, that’s right, Springtime. Happy Spring!

Three days ago we were like normal people! It was finally in the high 60s, kind of like, well, SPRING!

Now, we’re back to being Yetis.

“The North wind will blow and we shall have snow and what will the Robin do then? Poor thing! He’ll sit in the barn, and keep himself warm, and hide his head under his wing, poor thing!”
