Wednesday we took some of the kids in our youth group to the Lewis and Clark state park for some swimming and cookin’ out.

Lily had a good time in the sand.

And in the water. She’s much braver than me.

Our worn out Lily had to relax with a cold one and her dogs up.

Our kids on a very old tree with many large roots.

Phil inside the very old tree with many large roots and a big hole to crawl into.

No one else could seem to figure out how Phil got in there.

Makala wasn’t sure she even wanted to try to figure it out.

After Phil crawled out of the tree he was acting a little strange.

We were able to climb aboard a replica of a keel boat Lewis and Clark used to explore the Missouri.

Capt Lily and Mr. Smee.

Lily is getting much better at walking (with assistance). Look at that hiney!!

Every year the youth group is given the responsibility of decorating our church sanctuary for Christmas. Next year Phil and I will be in charge of this circus. I took pictures so I….or Phil will know what to do or what to tell the kids to do.

At least I’ll have some eager hands to hold Lily while it’s done!

>Bancroft Baby Shower.

June 14th I was showered once more with kindness, generosity and of course baby stuff! Some of the ladies at church hosted a baby shower for us. We’re all set now. I can’t think of one more thing we’ll need for this baby. It was also very nice to have Phil’s and my mom there, for the shower and for the aftermath!

The hostesses.

Phil loved this one. It’s a good thing this won’t fit when she’s 12.

My little helper Alix.
Here are Elizabeth, 96 and Gladys, 98. Still getting around.
