July 30: “When you turn 13 you can have your ears pierced.” I have always said. Well, Lily held me to it. She’s been asking since Christmas and today was finally the big day!

A Cellist

October 5: In 4th grade the kids can begin taking “Strings” at school if they choose. Gerhardt decided he’d like to learn the cello! It’s big but he’s a strong boy and Mama loves this instrument, even the sounds a beginner are lovely on this one.
