Easter Sunday

April 12: Blessed Easter to you all. It took an army of helpers to pull off our feast this year, this Mama is pooped. We missed a lot this Easter, going to church together, the big Easter congregational breakfast and lunch at our friends the Wehrbeins.

As strange as this Easter Sunday was I’m grateful for all the blessings of the day. We rejoice that our faith is not in vain. We have a living Savior. He lives and grants us daily breath; He lives and we shall conquer death.

Our babies singing “A Lenten Love song”. This is the anthem the children’s choir was preparing to sing today for the Maundy Thursday service but wasn’t able to. I asked our Kantor if he wouldn’t mind continuing the music program with just our kids. He was happy to do that.
