Waiting for Baby

End of April: What we do while we wait for baby to come. Grandma came to stay the week before to help out with all the things. Thankfully she was also happy to work with the babies on their math otherwise the 4 youngest did absolutely no schooling. I had no energy to plan, organize and oversee their distance learning. The big girls were able to keep theirs going though. Hopefully this Summer we can beef up a bit on some “school work” before we get back to school…we’ll see.

Holy Week – Wednesday

April 8: Holy Wednesday our church held a drive in service heard via radio in our members vehicles. It was just a short service of readings, prayers, and music for anyone who desired to hear God’s Word in person, actually lay eyes on their pastor and other brothers and sisters but doesn’t want to get out of their car. Our pastors and staff have had to get creative during this time of pandemic. We are thankful to a new member of ours who works for a radio station and set all this up for us (not pictured.)

Spring So Far

Winter becomes Spring. The weather seems as confused about things as the entire world is at the moment. We were gifted a big box of toilet paper from a thoughtful church member so we didn’t need to worry about getting some of that anymore. Now we just figure out how to pass the days.

Pizza And Poetry Night

April 4: We get around to a last minute Spring Pizza and Poetry Night. Little Caesar’s Pizza delivered for the win. This time the kids aren’t required to memorize their poems since we decided to do this all a couple days before. They found poems they liked and read them to us.
